Rixos Premium Tekirova, Turkey’s leading family hotel selected in World Travel Awards 2016, hosted the traditional Rixy Kids Fest this year as it is every year. The “Guinness World Records Book” experiment, the “Longest Fruity Cake in the World”, was prepared at a festival in which over a thousand children from 54 countries participated.

World record experiment with 633.3 meter biggest cake!
Rixos Premium Tekirova successfully concluded the Guinness World Records Book experiment with the 633.3 meter “World’s Longest Fruity Cake” prepared on the occasion of Rixy Club’s 15th birthday celebration on the first day of the event.
Prepared under the guidance of Professor Dr. Orhan Kural and Aydın Türkgücü’s Guinness record counseling, 463 kg of flour, 7400 eggs, 200 kg of various fruits and 12 thousand decorative chocolates were used. After the record experiment The cake was presented to the orphan kids who were living in Antalya and participant guest’s.
Rixos Premium Tekirova General Manager Faruk Karaca, who spoke after the festive occasion of colorful and fun moments, he said that they planned the “World’s Longest Fruity Cake” organization from January 2017. As a result of the negotiations we conducted with the Guinness team, we have meticulously passed through all the details to the finest detail for about 7 months from that day to this day. After the record experiment, the children’s festival started with the cortege to be held in the festival area; Fun shows, activities, food – beverage presentations and a concert by the Open Kids music group continued until midnight. On the second day of the festival on 17 August, the Italian chef Danilo Zanna shared a secret with his honeymooners of flavor of Italian cuisine. Within the scope of the event, the famous popstar Ani Lorak gave a concert to the guests.
The Rixy Children’s Festival ended with the Junior Chef contest on August 18, 2017, Danilo Zanna was presenting, where the kids and moms were competing each other.
