Dubai Parks and Resorts is the region’s largest integrated theme park destination comprising of three theme parks: MOTIONGATE Dubai, a movie inspired theme park showcasing some of Hollywood’s most beloved characters from DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures including the Smurfs and Lionsgate; BOLLYWOOD PARKS Dubai, a first-of-its-kind family theme park that features rides and attractions based on the authentic Bollywood experience; as well as LEGOLAND Dubai, a unique, interactive theme park for families which brings the well-known LEGO brick to life in a playful learning environment; and LEGOLAND Water Park, the region’s first water park catering to families with children 2-12. Expected to open in late 2019, Six Flags Dubai will be destination’s fourth theme park and the region’s first Six Flags theme park.
The entire destination is connected by Riverland Dubai – a uniquely themed retail and dining destination at the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts, and guests can stay at the Lapita Hotel, a Polynesian themed family hotel part of the Marriott Autograph Collection.
The AED 13.2 billion development is spread across 30.6 million square feet of land located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai opposite the Palm Jebel Ali equidistant to Dubai and Abu Dhabi International Airports.
Dubai Parks and Resorts is the first of its kind integrated entertainment destination in the region, as it consists of three different theme parks and one waterpark and entertainment zone all in the same location.

MOTIONGATE Dubai
MOTIONGATE Dubai is the Middle East’s largest Hollywood-inspired theme park, inviting guests of all ages to step into the magical, mythical worlds of some of cinema’s most beloved movies. Uniting three legendary Hollywood film studios in one theme park – DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures including the Smurfs, and Lionsgate – guests can go beyond the screen and immerse themselves in the magic of Hollywood, ensuring fun for the whole family year-round and creating memories to last a lifetime.
Spread across five zones, guests of all ages will be entertained by 27 key rides and attractions, including five roller coasters, multi-media dark rides, interactive play labs, media-based theatre shows, plus a full program of roaming entertainment and live dance performances.
Inspired by 13 of Hollywood’s most beloved live action and animated films, guests are transported into the world of movies including Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Hotel Transylvania, Ghostbusters, The Smurfs and The Hunger Games.
With nine family-friendly restaurants, 15 themed retail outlets and the 1,000 seat Hollywood Theatre, as well as multiple kiosks offering light bites and merchandise throughout the park, guests have a full range of choices for dining, entertainment and relaxation beyond the rides and attractions.
As part of its full-service offering, MOTIONGATE Dubai is enhanced with smart technology, smart queuing, shaded walkways and offers full access for guests with mobility impairments.
BOLLYWOOD PARKS Dubai
BOLLYWOOD PARKS Dubai is a first of its kind theme park showcasing the authentic Bollywood experience. BOLLYWOOD PARKS Dubai recreates the Bollywood experience through themed attractions and rides spread across five zones: Bollywood Boulevard, Mumbai Chowk, Rustic Ravine, Royal Plaza and Bollywood Film Studios.
BOLLYWOOD PARKS Dubai’s flagship offering is the 856-seater Rajmahal Theatre that is home to a Broadway-style, Bollywood-themed show, Jaan-e-Jigaar (note that Jaan-e-Jigaar is a separately-ticketed attraction). During the day, the park will have up to 20 live shows across six stages: Rock On!!, Crossroads, Mumbai Express, Rangmanch, Stars on Steps and Cinema Circle.
The park offers six themed restaurants that capture India’s mouth-watering culinary offerings and eight retail outlets stocking quintessential filmy fare.
LEGOLAND Dubai
The ultimate world of year-round LEGO® themed adventures for families with children aged 2-12, LEGOLAND® Dubai features over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions and 15,000 LEGO model structures made from over 60 million LEGO bricks. LEGOLAND® Dubai has six themed lands, each unique in their experience, entertainment and educational offering, including: LEGO CITY, KINGDOMS, IMAGINATION, ADVENTURE, MINILAND, and FACTORY.
LEGOLAND Dubai is the first LEGOLAND Park in the Middle East, and is the seventh LEGOLAND Park, joining locations in Billund, Denmark; Windsor, England; Carlsbad, California; Günzburg, Germany; Winter Haven, Florida; and Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
LEGOLAND Water Park
LEGOLAND Water Park is the only water park in the region designed specifically for kids aged 2-12 and their families, and the fourth in the world besides the existing parks in Carlsbad, California, Winter Haven Florida, and Johor, Malaysia.
The water park, features more than 20 water slides and attractions, each offering a different and fun-soaked experience. Moreover, LEGOLAND® Water Park includes a full range of amenities, including dining and retail outlets, changing rooms, cabanas, guest services, first aid and prayer rooms.
Six Flags Dubai
Construction has commenced on Six Flags Dubai, the first Six Flags branded theme park in the region. Scheduled to open in 2019, Six Flags Dubai will be the fourth theme park at the Dubai Parks and Resorts destination and will include 27 rides and attractions for all ages across six themed zones; Thrill seeker Plaza, Magic Mountain, Fiesta Texas, Great Escape, Great Adventure, and Great America.
Six Flags Dubai will feature at least three world record breaking rides in addition to six roller coasters, four aerial attractions, a 350-metre river rapids ride and three performance spaces along with many attractions tailored for younger guests.
Riverland Dubai
Riverland Dubai is a uniquely themed retail and dining destination at the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts. The destination is free for all to enjoy and its exceptional location means it will be experienced by every visitor to the parks.
Riverland Dubai has four themed zones that offer a fascinating glimpse into some of the greatest eras of the past – from 1950s America at The Boardwalk to medieval France at The French Village, India of the 1920’s at India Gate and the 19th century-themed Peninsula.
With more than 50 shops and restaurants and a range of entertainment from street performances to festivals and concerts there is something for friends, families and couples to enjoy at Riverland Dubai.
Lapita Hotel
Lapita is a Polynesian themed hotel, part of Autograph Collection by Marriott, located in the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts. Dedicated to families and friends who want to stay close to all the Parks have to offer and at the same time enjoy a fun destination in its own right.
